Who we are
Mudfish is a trading name of Loud Crowd IT Ltd (company number 10278925, registered office 3 Railway Court, Doncaster DN4 5FB). We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact:[email protected] or 01302 965482.
What we collect and why
Quick-quote form
When you send the quick-quote form we receive your name, phone number, trade, how you'd prefer to be contacted (call, WhatsApp or email), the page you sent it from and the time. We use these to get back to you about your enquiry. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
The form is sent as an email through Brevo (our email provider) to a LoudCrowd mailbox. As a backup, the same details are also posted to the contact system on loudcrowd.digital, another Loud Crowd IT Ltd website, which emails them to us. This website does not store your submission; it is held in those mailboxes and in the delivery logs of our email providers for a short period. We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and for our records, and no longer than 12 months unless you become a customer.
AI visibility checker
The checker asks only for a website address. We fetch that site's homepage, robots.txt and llms.txt from our servers to produce a score. The address is not stored or emailed. Your IP address is held briefly in server memory to limit each address to 12 checks an hour, then discarded.
Phone and email links
If you call or email us directly, we hold what you give us to reply to you.
What we don't do
- No analytics or advertising trackers run on this site (no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or similar).
- This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser.
- We don't sell or share your details for marketing by anyone else.
Who else processes your data
- Cloudflare hosts the site and handles every request (your IP address, browser details and the page requested) to serve pages and protect against abuse.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) delivers the quote-form email.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces: your browser requests font files from Google, which receives your IP address.
Cloudflare and Google operate globally and may process data outside the UK under the UK's international transfer rules (adequacy or standard contractual clauses). Brevo processes in the EU.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it. Email [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We'll update this page when what we collect changes, and change the date at the top.
